GAD
Generalised anxiety disorder, or GAD, is persistent and excessive worry that the person cannot control, and it is the indication in which Definium ran its two Phase 3 trials and one of the three Qualifying Indications in the AtaiBeckley CVR agreement.
Why it matters here
GAD matters to this beat because it is where the field's second set of Phase 3 readouts landed, and a reader comparing those numbers with a depression readout is comparing different scales, HAM-A against MADRS, on different populations.
Definium's Voyage and Panorama trials both list GAD as the condition on ClinicalTrials.gov (NCT06741228, NCT06809595). The AtaiBeckley CVR agreement names it, with MDD and TRD, as a Qualifying Indication (Annex III to EX-2.1, Section 1.1).
